David Josué Jiménez Silva (born 8 January 1986 in Arguineguín, Gran Canaria) is a Spanish footballer who currently plays for Valencia CF and the Spanish national team.
Silva is capable of playing on either wing or as a traditional number 10, and sometimes as a supporting striker. A player of slight build, he is often compared to Pablo Aimar, the player he replaced at Valencia, also donning Aimar's trademark number 21.
